FRUIT AFTER HIS KIND
“And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herbs yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit aftter his kind, whose seed was in itself, after his kind, upon the earth: and it was so.” (Gen. 1:11) is the very word of God. We notice that, there are two “yielding” in the above word of God, but they aren’t the same. The first “yielding” is “zârả” pronounced as “zaw-rah” which means to conceive while the second one is “’ âśâh” pronounced as “aw-saw” which is from the root word “to do or make” that is to produce (Hebrew words).
God said, let the dry land spring out grass and herds yielding (zârả) seed; grass means newness, it means green, it means sprouting. It signifies a newly germinating plant, a newly growing leader, a savior. Plants are very significant on earth even physically; they are the major source of food. He said let the earth liberate out grass to shine, the meaning of the herb there is to glisten; which means to shine.
We are being born again to shine in life, from the physicals we are liberating to shine, to take over and conceive a seed. We can’t fail, the Christian has to struggle to fail because, there is no failure in him. It is either you pass or pass. We came to shine brethrens; we are the children of light. And the fruit tree producing fruit of its own kind. The tree is the firmness of the plant conceived and its products is the edible part.
We truly carry solutions and peace around. This was mostly used in the olden days, when a stranger appears before citizens of an unknown tribe, he shows green leave to say he came in peace. This was popular among tribes with different languages, the green leave speaks for peace. This is one of the elements of the Christian; we are in the peace (rest) of God that we carry peace everywhere we go.
We carry cures for solutions, herbs literally are medicines, but we enjoy divine health because God said so, let there be. The world needs this light, we need to shine, we can’t walk in darkness—we walk in day. We shine to illuminate others to the power of God, that’s why we keep on healing: because we shine.
There are a lot of plants to consider, but let us take the palm tree. “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” (Psa. 92:12). We, the righteousness of God flourishes like the palm tree. A palm tree has many uses, and none of its part is thrown away. From the leaves and branches we get brooms, fan, roofing sheets for huts and many more. As the verse says “…and herbs…” and shine, we sweep of dirt, we clear the place, we calm the broken hearted through Jesus Christ. Apart from the oil and metals extracted, the tree also produces juice. Trees: where birds of different kinds come to eat, where the tired come to rest, where the exhausted comes for air, it is a source of food and income for many.
We are conceived by the Holy Spirit to produce edible fruit of His Kind, not our kind, we have His seed in us, therefore the fruit of the Spirit manifests in us upon the earth. Glory to God. Not just within our spirit but to the outside so that people may benefit.
“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness\ be as the noonday: And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” (Isa. 58:6-14)
