THE LIVING SOUL

“…and let them have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and over the fowls of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepth upon the earth.” (Gen. 1:26). God created man to have dominion over the earth and all thing that creeped upon the earth. He did not say some things, neither did He say-- on earth only, but God said all things that are on the earth and the things that creeps upon the earth.
God made us the god of this world, he gave us authority on earth; we were made the managers of earth. All things on earth including things that creeps upon it. This is the soul of man, this is the free will God gave us. He did not make us robots to be controlled, but He gave us dominion.
Dominion here means to rule over them, it means the power of choice. Though He created bravery in us, He made us the green of the world, He made us moving creature that can fly above the earth; we have the rule over them whether to manifest them or not. Yes you are made rich in Christ but it’s up to us to manifest; He is not forcing you to be in the spirit, He isn’t forcing you to spread His gospel and not to shut up; it is our choice!
The Bible says “… and man became a living soul” (Gen. 2:7) which implies our will. Note that we were already spirit before becoming a living soul. The Bible did not say “… and they became a living soul” but rather MAN became! Man existed in spirit, we were in God (find this on the topic- IN THE BEGINNING).
Our choices makes who we are, we are given that privilege of choice. The soul consists of the intellect, will and emotions. We are sharing the power of Human will.
God gave us the privilege of being a living soul. We weren’t dead, our thoughts were not considered dead to them, but a living thought. That is why man named the creatures and it was so.
The gifts of the spirit in us can only manifest if we allow them to do so. Some Christian think God is cheating them by not giving them gift, they think God does not want to use them which is not true. He is always looking for opportunities to use us, He is more eager to reveal mysteries to us; we just don’t allow Him. That is the dominion over things that creeps upon the earth.
We have that will to allow beings in or to resist them. You can refuse to accept Christ into your life because you have the power to do so. So can you allow evil spirit into your life; it’s your choice! No spirit has the right to come on earth(your life--body) except you allow him. Satan can’t force into you, neither can a magical spirit intrudes in you. You have dominion on them, you have authority on all the things that creeps upon the earth(your body).
This earth is for Human, and no spirit comes in except you allow them. That is why Satan through the serpent influenced the woman by her soul (will) to take the fruit of death. Eve had influenced Adam to eat, that was emotions (soul). And this made Adam deliver his godship of the world to the devil (Luke 4:6). That is the will of man.
You have that power of choice between light and darkness; you have the choice of making yourself available for God, or the choice of taking physical wealth to spiritual wealth. WHAT IS YOUR CHOICE?

HIS SPIRIT

God created man in his image and likeliness such that man’s actions will reflect His nature. The Bible says God breath into the body the breath of life which is the spirit. He created man in His shape and likeliness; from His Spirit. That’s why the Christian is born of the Spirit not of the flesh; we do not live by blood but by the spirit. God gave man dominion and the authority to create; to subdue the earth. He did not just give us fish to eat, He also thought us how to fish. This is the believer’s authority, we can also say “let there be”. That is why Jesus said "it is finished" to notify that, God’s work on earth is done, He now carries His work through us. He is seated on His throne expecting a glorious end. It is not by might nor power, but by the Spirit of God, who lives in us. We have the Spirit of He who raised Jesus from death, we have Him in us. Therefore start exhibiting the nature of God, that is what He expects from you. This is the believer’s authority. God did not just leave us as orphans, He gave us His Spirit.
