BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING

The book of Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.” And the verse seven reads “and the peace of GOD which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and minds through Jesus Christ.”

When faced with a challenge or crisis, our tendency, is to get all anxious about it, but God does not want us to react that way. He does not want us to be anxious about anything. Instead, whatever the problem may be, He wants us to come to him in prayer and supplication, telling him what we need and thanking him for an answer.

When we do that, His peace, which surpasses all understanding, comes to guard our hearts and minds from all worries, anxieties and fears. Oh glory to God! It easy for you to say, “be anxious for nothing". Try living with a guardian who does not want you to pray or go to church. Look at the balance in my bank account. I have nothing to eat yet you say I shouldn't be anxious. Hold it! I’m not the one who said "be anxious for nothing", the apostle Paul said it. Yet, it was not him—he was prompted by the Holy Spirit.

Paul wrote this in prison; he was a prisoner under house arrest in Rome. He had been sent to Rome because he had appealed to Caesar regarding his death sentence. The Jews in Jerusalem wanted him to be put to death (Acts 28:16-20) yet, under those conditions, he wrote these words, “BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING”. But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to GOD.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, if you are anxious or worried about something remember those words. Induce this into your spirit, let it be your life style. If you are anxious about a huge debt, Go to the Lord and pray "Lord Jesus, I no longer want to be anxious about this problem, I hand it over to You and ask for supernatural cancellation of this debt. It is in your care now, You are in charge thank You for taking care of it" GOD is true to his word. As you pray this prayer and cast your care on Him, you will find his peace settling in your heart. So be anxious for nothing, let the One with whom nothing is impossible take care of it for you. AMEN. ( Kwabena Boat )

HIS SPIRIT

God created man in his image and likeliness such that man’s actions will reflect His nature. The Bible says God breath into the body the breath of life which is the spirit. He created man in His shape and likeliness; from His Spirit. That’s why the Christian is born of the Spirit not of the flesh; we do not live by blood but by the spirit. God gave man dominion and the authority to create; to subdue the earth. He did not just give us fish to eat, He also thought us how to fish. This is the believer’s authority, we can also say “let there be”. That is why Jesus said "it is finished" to notify that, God’s work on earth is done, He now carries His work through us. LET THERE BE!!!

It is not by might nor power, but by the Spirit of God, who lives in us. We have the Spirit of He who raised Jesus from death, we have Him in us. Therefore start exhibiting the nature of God, that is what He expects from you. This is the believer’s authority. God did not just leave us as orphans, He gave us His Spirit.
